My favorite film is Westworld. I've never seen the TV show based on it but the film is great even if a bit janky. Very 70s. I like sci-fi movies a ton, Forbidden Planet is v v good. sci fi anything is a++, even if it sucks its usually charming
 
Favorite movie is Jurassic Park. The franchise has kinda gone to shit since Fallen Kingdom but I'm optimistic about Jurassic World Rebirth. Favorite video game is Pokémon SoulSilver (also the first Pokémon game I ever played). I love Pokémon, Sonic, and occasionally Mario although the last Mario game I played was Mario Odyssey (game is a fucking masterpiece btw.) Those are really the only game franchises I play lol. The only console I own is a Switch and I'm hoping to get the Switch 2 whenever I can to play the new DK game even though the game prices are ridiculously high. Anything Pokémon or Sonic I will eat up.

My favorite old sci fi movies are the Day the Earth Stood Still (1951) and 2001 a space odyssey (1968) It’s been awhile since I’ve seen them though so that could change.

If you like books All Tomorrows is one of the best sci fi novels I’ve read and is one of my favorites.

I read that a year or so ago. Very odd to me that it has the fanbase it has, but very good

event horizon is a very good film as well.

I’ve only seen scenes of event horizon but it looks good. The horror aspect to it reminds me of Hellraiser.

i've never seen hellraiser but i've been meaning to, mutilation stuff is one of the few things that is a bit freaky to me. Then again there's plenty of that in event horizon. Is it good?

I would say it’s good, it’s heavy on mutilation and body horror but the story is very supernatural and slightly sci fi. I would recommend Hellraiser (2022) and Hellraiser (1987). I haven’t watched the other films but I’ve heard that Hellraiser Judgment and revelations aren’t that good. Overall to me I think the films are worth watching just some are flops so make sure to read reviews.

Will look into it. If I watch any it will probably be the 80s one. 80s films are kewl.

Also, what is your avatar from?
 
Mine is from Thais, an Italian film from 1917. I have never watched it (fake fan) I just thought its style was very unique.
